【生意気（なまいき）】cheeky / arrogant

【反抗する（はんこうする）】to rebel / to defy

例文①弟は最近、親に反抗することが増えました。English: My younger brother has been rebelling against our parents more often recently.

例文②誰でも一度は親に反抗したことがあるかもしれません。English: Almost everyone has probably rebelled against their parents at least once.

【派手（はで）】flashy / showy

【にらむ】to glare at
