CLUB ACTIVITIES
Monthly members can join club activities, including Gaming, Book, Reading Practice, and Presentation Clubs. Participation is optional, and you can join multiple clubs! In entertainment clubs, you can enjoy hobbies while chatting in Japanese. In study clubs, you can improve your Japanese beyond conversation classes.
ONLINE MEETUP
We have a private Discord community where everyone shares their daily updates!
Plus, we host Zoom talk sessions twice a month, where members can chat freely. Topics range from Japanese learning to travel, hobbies, and more.
Engaging with the community helps you feel more relaxed and confident when you join the next class!

Small Group Speaking Class
Our class is a conversation-based course where students engage in discussions based on original topics. The class is conducted via Zoom, lasts for one hour, and consists of a maximum of three students and one teacher.

Our classes are divided into three levels:

Beginner-Intermediate (N4~N3)

If you’re unsure which level to choose, don’t worry! Before your first class, you’ll have a level check with the teacher, ensuring that you can join the class that best suits your ability.

At SSJ, our goal is to provide a space where you can enjoy speaking Japanese with confidence.
Group classes can feel intimidating at first, and that’s completely natural! However, we strive to create a comfortable environment where even shy learners can participate without stress.
While private lessons are beneficial, improving conversation skills is often more effective in a group setting that closely resembles real-life interactions. Give it a try with our trial class!
BUKATSU CLUB ACTIVITIES
In addition to our conversation classes, you can also participate in Japanese learning clubs! Currently, we offer four clubs—two focused on study and two centered around hobbies and entertainment. Participation is completely optional, but it's a great way to learn effectively and enjoyably with members who share the same goals. Come and have fun while improving your Japanese!
🎤Music Club🎹
This is a hobby-based club where you can join in a relaxed atmosphere! Members share their favorite music and discuss it together. We also study Japanese song lyrics, making it a fun way to learn Japanese! From trending hits to classic songs, there’s something for everyone! If you want to explore more Japanese music, come join us!
🎮Game Club🃏
This club is all about having fun together! We play various games online, including video games and board games. It's a great place for game lovers to gather, play, and share their favorite games! Since we play in Japanese, your conversation skills will naturally improve too!
📚Book Club📚
This club focuses on reading Japanese books! Members can suggest books, and we practice reading together with the teacher. Reading practice helps with kanji and vocabulary learning while also allowing you to enjoy Japanese literature! We meet twice a month, but there are also assignments, and you can exchange ideas and ask questions on Discord daily. It's perfect for those who want a well-balanced approach to Japanese learning beyond conversation classes!

Presentation Club
Presentation Club is a small group class where members practice giving short presentations in Japanese.
You will prepare a short talk on a given topic, share your ideas, and answer questions from other members. The goal is not to speak perfectly, but to practice explaining your thoughts clearly and confidently in Japanese.
📖Reading Practice Club📖
Reading Practice Club is a small group class for lower-intermediate and intermediate learners.
In this club, members practice reading N3-level Japanese texts together. We focus on understanding the main ideas, learning useful vocabulary and expressions, and getting used to reading longer Japanese sentences.
This club is especially good for members who want to build reading skills for the JLPT N3.
