🟡 協調性（きょうちょうせい）cooperativeness

彼は協調性があって、グループ活動でもうまくやっています。→ He is cooperative and does well in group activities.
協調性がないと、みんなが困ることがあります。→ Without cooperativeness, everyone may face difficulties.

🟡 自己主張（じこしゅちょう）self-assertion

授業で自己主張するのは大切ですが、言いすぎないほうがいいです。→ It’s important to assert yourself in class, but not too much.
自己主張が強い人は、リーダーになることが多いです。→ People who assert themselves strongly often become leaders.

🟡 空気を読む（くうきをよむ）to read the atmosphere

日本では、空気を読むことが大事だと言われます。→ In Japan, people say it is important to read the atmosphere.
彼は空気を読んで、みんなが話したいことを質問しました。→ He read the atmosphere and asked what everyone wanted to talk about.

🟠 同調圧力（どうちょうあつりょく）peer pressure / pressure to conform

学生のとき、同調圧力を感じて、本当はしたくない活動に参加したことがあります。→ When I was a student, I felt peer pressure and joined an activity I didn’t really want to do.
同調圧力に負けずに、自分の意見を言うのは勇気がいります。→ It takes courage to express your opinion without giving in to peer pressure.

🟠 反発する（はんぱつする）to oppose / to rebel

社員たちは、会社の不公平なルールに反発しました。→ The employees opposed the company’s unfair rules.
親に反発して、あえて別の道を選ぶ若者もいます。→ Some young people rebel against their parents and deliberately choose a different path.

🟠 孤立する（こりつする）to be isolated

集団の中で意見が合わないと、孤立することがあります。→ If your opinion doesn’t match the group, you may become isolated.
孤立しても、自分の考えを守ることが大切だと思います。→ Even if you are isolated, I think it’s important to stick to your beliefs.

🟠 妥協する（だきょうする）to compromise

みんなの意見が違ったので、妥協して中間の案を選びました。→ Since everyone had different opinions, we compromised and chose a middle plan.
妥協することで、対立を避けられることもあります。→ By compromising, you can sometimes avoid conflict.

🟠 理不尽（りふじん）unreasonable / unfair

上司の命令が理不尽だと感じても、部下は従わなければならないことがあります。→ Even if they feel the boss’s order is unreasonable, subordinates sometimes have to obey.
学生たちは理不尽なルールを変えるために声を上げました。→ The students raised their voices to change the unreasonable rules.
