【逃す(のがす)】to miss / lose an opportunity
例文① ずっと行きたかったコンサートなのに、チケットを買うのを忘れてチャンスを逃してしまった。I'd wanted to go to the concert for a long time, but I forgot to buy a ticket and missed my chance.
